The token that keeps your real-time WebSocket connection alive now refreshes automatically every hour. Previously, extended work sessions could silently lose their live data connection once the token expired, requiring a full page reload to restore real-time updates.

WebSocket connections are what powers AgileData's live notifications and real-time UI updates — things like pipeline status changes, rule completion alerts, and catalog update notifications. These connections use a short-lived security token, and when that token expired the connection would quietly drop. You might not notice until you realised updates had stopped arriving.

With automatic hourly token refresh, the connection stays healthy for as long as you're working — no page reload required.
