History rules — which track how your data changes over time — now support two new configuration options: group by fields and a second parse step.

The group by option lets you aggregate and group your history data by specific fields, giving you more control over how historical snapshots are structured and summarised. Combined with the second parse field, you can now apply an additional parsing step to your history data after the initial transformation, enabling more sophisticated data shaping for complex historical tracking scenarios.

The SQL generated for history rules with a second parse has also been tidied to produce cleaner, more readable output. And a new shared sheet row numbering pattern makes history rule configurations more consistent and predictable when working with spreadsheet-based sources.
