**What was happening:**

The folder drop processing was only detecting `.gz` compressed files, missing other common zip formats. Files compressed with standard zip tools but not using the `.gz` extension were not being processed correctly, causing folder drop notifications to behave unexpectedly.

**What was fixed:**

* Expanded file detection to correctly identify non-`.gz` zipped files
* Folder drop notifications now work correctly across all supported compressed file types

**What this means for you:**

* A wider range of compressed file formats are handled reliably in folder drops
* Fewer unexpected errors when dropping compressed files that aren't in `.gz` format
* More consistent behaviour when working with compressed data files
