Previously, a tag like ``--Risk`` or ``--RISK`` would not trigger the expected governance behaviour. AgileData uses tag patterns to identify and act on risk-annotated data assets. These patterns were case-sensitive, meaning manually typed tags that didn't exactly match the expected lowercase format (``--risk``) were silently ignored. This update normalises all manually entered risk tags to lowercase before they are evaluated, so your governance annotations work as intended regardless of how they were typed. **What was happening:** * Manually created ``--risk`` tags with uppercase letters (e.g. ``--Risk``, ``--RISK``) were not matched by governance patterns * Tags appeared to be applied but had no effect on automated risk detection * The issue only affected manually entered tags — tags applied via automated rules were unaffected **What this means for you:** * Risk tags you type manually are always recognised and enforced * No need to worry about case when adding risk annotations to catalog tiles * More reliable governance coverage across your entire catalog Last Refreshed =========================== *Doc Refreshed: 2026-04-15*
