For security, AgileData sessions expire after a period of time and need to be renewed. The way renewal worked had several problems. Browsers often blocked the renewal pop-up, so the "session expired" screen appeared even for active users. When renewal did succeed, the app sometimes didn't notice and showed the expired screen anyway. If sign-in took longer than expected, the page reloaded and you lost what you were working on.

Session renewal has been rebuilt. When your session needs renewing, a **Continue session** prompt appears. Clicking it renews your session in a small pop-up while your page stays exactly as it was. If renewal doesn't finish, for example because you're still entering your password, the prompt stays up. You can retry, or choose **Reload page** yourself. The page never reloads automatically.

**What was happening:**

* Renewal pop-ups blocked by the browser, causing immediate timeouts
* Successful renewals not recognised, so the expired screen still appeared
* Automatic page reloads that discarded unsaved work
* The Catalog showing an error after a session was renewed

**What this means for you:**

* Your work and page state are kept when your session renews
* A clear prompt and a manual reload option, so you never get stuck
* The Catalog loads correctly after renewal
