2023-05-22 - Share External BigQuery Tables¶

Problem¶

To get share data from the -e project into the -d project requires manually setting up sharing then manually synching tiles into the catalog.

Solution¶

Setup the required sharing permissions when deploying new tenancies, and show the -e project as a Tenancy Festure so Data Magicians can sync tiles from -e into -d anytime they like.

Leverage the Magic¶

Manage > Tenancy Features - Clieck the -e project sharing option.

The tables in the -e project will appear as Shared Tile in the catalog.
