2023-09-18 - Canvas Events - Sync Tile Name¶
Problem¶
Previously when users updated an event in the topci canvas or updated the event in the catalog the chnages weren’t synced between the two.
This made is very confusing for users who would create a canvas with an event named x , then rename that event in the catlog to y and the x would persist.
Solution¶
Extend the api used to maintain canvas events to allow it to sync the event details from the catalog and vice versa
Leverage the Magic¶
A small tweak to the extsing topic canvas endpoint in the api layer and the events start magically synching properly
