Problem¶

AgileData was designed to be rich in descriptive metadata to inform and guide users when they are navigating around the catalog and searching for information.

But we find that most users just load the data and dont get around to describing what it is used for, or provide any context about the data.

The McSpikey was to understand if we could leverage our ‘ask adi’ pattern but prompt it with ‘tell me about xxx’ to provide an initial description and context for new tiles.

Solution¶

By calling the existing ‘ask adi’ endpoint with a tile profile and asking it to describe the data and provide some context, we can create initial metadata for the tile that the user can use as-is or update as required.

Leverage the Magic¶

We leverage our existing /api/ask_adi endpoint to generate a draft description and context for new tiles - with a disclaimer of course.
