Summary¶
Provides a list of Notifications of every event that happens in the AgileData Product.
Problem¶
Data Magicians need to know what happened and when it happened, so they can ensure the data is healthy and trustworthy.
Current notifications are visible in the notification wiodget at the top right of the top menu bar, but there is no way to go and look at the notifcations that have been previously displayed. There is also no way to see the underlying detail for the notification.
Solution¶
New Notification List screen. This lists all Notification for a selected period (Yersterday, 7 days, 14 days etc). It also provides a scorecard fo the key metrics that we care about, Success vs Failures, Anomolies, Trust Rules and Data Freshness so the health of the daat is always visible.
For each Notification you can see the underyling logging detail that is context sensitive to the notification. For example if there is an error you see the error logs, if a Tile has succesfully loaded you can see how many records woere loaded, how long it took to execute.
Following our From Anyhere to Anywhere UX pattern, you can go to any of the related objects for a Notification. For example for a Tile Loaded you can jump to the tile Detail, the Change Rule or the Trust Rules for the Tile that was loaded.
Leverage the Magic¶
SSelect All Notifications from the notification widget at the top right of any page or go Manage > Notifications.
