AgileData.io - Take Control of Your Data Dictionary: Edit Column Descriptions Directly

Your data catalog is now fully editable. You can now click into any column description and update it directly from the catalog view, making it easier than ever to maintain clear, accurate documentation for your data consumers.

Previously, column descriptions could only be updated through backend processes or automatically generated. While automation is helpful for getting started, you’re the expert on your data and sometimes need to add context, clarify meaning, or correct automated descriptions.

Click-to-edit functionality for column descriptions across all tiles
Immediate updates that persist to your data catalog
Clean, intuitive interface that matches the existing catalog design
Description column now visible in all tile views for better data discovery
