AgileData.io - Identity and Archiving Fixed: Two Targeted Correctness Improvements
Two unrelated but important correctness fixes have been applied in this release.
The first fix is for service accounts, the automated identities that AgileData’s services use. Their identity was not always read correctly when they signed in through the identity service. This has been corrected, so service account identities now resolve properly.
The second fix addresses the shared_with field on archived tables. When a table was archived, the shared_with metadata wasn’t being cleared, meaning the table could appear to still be shared with other catalog entries even after archiving. The shared_with field is now correctly cleared when a table is archived.
What was happening:
Some service account identities were not resolved correctly
Archived tables retained their shared_with metadata rather than having it cleared
What this means for you:
Service account authentication works correctly
Archived tables no longer incorrectly show sharing relationships after archiving
