2026-10-21 - Consume Rules: Manual Rules Listed and Rule Logic On Demand

Release

AgileData.io - The Whole Consume Layer in One List: Auto and Manual Rules Together

The Consume Rules page previously listed only the consume rules that AgileData generates automatically. Consume outputs that you build yourself with change rules lived elsewhere, so seeing everything feeding your consume layer meant looking in more than one place.

Consume Rules now lists both. A Rule Type filter lets you narrow the list to auto-generated or manually created rules. The row menu is smarter too. For an auto rule it opens the Event or Concept Map focused on the event or concept the rule was built for. For a manual rule it opens the Data Map filtered to that output, or takes you to the change rule itself.

You can also show and hide the change rule logic directly on the Consume Rules page, using the same show and hide pattern found elsewhere in the app.

What’s New:

  • Manually created consume rules listed alongside auto-generated ones

  • Rule Type filter to switch between auto and manual rules

  • Row menu links to the relevant Event Map, Concept Map, Data Map or change rule

  • Show and hide rule logic inline on the Consume Rules page

  • Rule Name sorting now matches the name as displayed

What this means for you:

  • One place to see every rule feeding your consume layer

  • Faster navigation from a consume rule to its design context

  • Review rule logic without leaving the page
