We’ve migrated all container images to Google Cloud Artifact Registry, Google’s modern solution for managing container artifacts.
What Changed:
All container images now stored in regional Artifact Registry
Images tagged with both branch name and commit SHA for better versioning
Regional deployment matches container storage location for optimal performance
Technical Details:
Images stored at {region}-docker.pkg.dev/{project_id}/gcf-artifacts/
Multi-region support with US buckets deploying to us-central1
Proper artifact versioning and retention policies
