AgileData.io - AI Agents Come to AgileData: Model Context Protocol Integration
We’ve integrated the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server into AgileData, opening the door for AI agents like Claude Desktop and custom MCP clients to interact directly with your data platform. This foundational capability enables conversational data management, automated rule creation, and intelligent platform assistance.
The MCP server exposes AgileData’s core APIs—catalog management, rule creation, configuration updates, and more—through a standardized protocol that AI agents can understand and use. This means you can now describe what you want to accomplish in plain language, and AI agents can help translate that into actual platform actions.
