AgileData.io - Share the Right Things: Catalog Sharing Menu Corrected
What was happening:
The sharing option was appearing in the catalog menu for all tile types, when it should only be available for Consume tiles. This meant users could see sharing options on tiles where sharing isn’t applicable, causing confusion about what could actually be shared.
What was fixed:
Sharing option in the catalog menu is now only shown for Consume tiles
Menu options correctly reflect what actions are available for each tile type
What this means for you:
A cleaner, more intuitive catalog menu that only shows relevant actions
No more seeing sharing options on tiles that can’t be shared
Clearer guidance about which catalog tiles support sharing with other users
