2026-10-20 - MCP Server: Verified Identity and Framework Upgrade¶
Release¶
AgileData.io - Stronger Foundations: Verified Identity and an Upgraded MCP Framework
The AgileData MCP server lets AI assistants such as Claude and Copilot work with your data securely. AgileData has strengthened how it confirms who is connecting, and upgraded the framework it runs on.
The MCP server now cryptographically verifies the identity of every request, using a signed identity token from Google. This means only identities that Google has confirmed can reach your tenancy through MCP. The server has also moved to the latest major version of the MCP framework, with authentication adjusted so connections continue to work seamlessly.
What’s New:
Cryptographic verification of the identity of every MCP request
Upgrade to the latest major release of the MCP server framework
Authentication handling updated for the new framework
What this means for you:
Stronger assurance that only verified users can access your data through AI assistants
Access to the latest MCP protocol improvements
No change to how you connect your AI assistant
