Sharing TheLook Google Public Datasets¶
Link to the Google Public TheLook datasets so you can use this data for the rest of the orientation steps. Sharing allows you to link to any Google Cloud Public datasets, plus you can Share Tiles across AgileData Tenancies.

Step by Step¶
1. Share Google Public Datasets¶
To share Google Public datasets with your AgileData Tenancy, open the AgileData App and click on the Collect menu. Choose the Data Collectors option.
Search for the Google Public Dataset¶
Expand the area named Importing Google Public Tiles into this tenancy, then input the name of the public dataset. In this case we are going to search for thelook.
Select the Google Public Dataset¶
Select the thelook_ecommerce dataset to start the sharing process.
Confirm the Sharing of the datasets¶
Once you click on the dataset, ADI will popout asking for confirmation to Import Google Public Dataset. Click on Import Tiles.
ADI will confirm the number of tables that will be shared as Tiles, click Yes, Import Tiles to confirm.
2. Shared Tiles created¶
After you have confirmed the sharing of the Google Public datasets, AgileData automatically links to the data via Shared Tiles.
You can initially find the Shared Tiles in the Latest Tiles row in the Catalog screen, or via the notifications at the top. You can also find them in the Shared Tiles row in the Catalog, or via searching the Catalog for shared.
As part of the sharing process AgileData also profiles the data, this process might take a few minutes, you will receive a notification in the top notifications area once the data has been succesfully shared.
